Meet Dr. Brooke

I became a licensed psychologist in 2009 while completing a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at New York-Presbyterian Hospital.  My clinical training centered on conducing therapy with youth and families within and outside of the school setting. I am comfortable working with a variety of difficulties from typical life challenges to serious anxiety and depressive disorders, trauma, school-related challenges, and social concerns.

I grew up in Dallas, TX and credit my years as a summer camp counselor for my entry into the profession of child psychology. I completed my Bachelors, Masters, and Doctoral Degrees at the University of Texas at Austin with study abroad experiences in Jerusalem and Oaxaca, Mexico.

I am also a proud mother of two young daughters; thus I currently see clients on a part-time basis. I enjoy exploring Austin with my family, checking out live theater, dabbling with a yoga practice, and taking road trips.

For more information about my professional experiences, please see my curriculum vitae.

I’ve devoted my career to helping kids, teens, and families.
